This policy explains how returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds work on PurvX India (purvx.in). All transactions are protected by PurvX Purchase Protection.
Purchase Protection: All orders placed and paid on purvx.in are covered by PurvX Purchase Protection. Your payment is secure, your item must match the description, and our team will help resolve any issue fairly.
On-platform only: Payments, communication, and transactions must happen only on purvx.in. Off-platform exchanges are not protected.
1) Returns and exchanges
PurvX India connects individual sellers and buyers across India. Each seller sets their own return or exchange policy, which is displayed on the product page.
a) Final Sale — No returns or exchanges
Items marked Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged.
Some sellers allow returns or exchanges under specific conditions and timelines.
Buyers must follow the seller’s instructions exactly as listed on the product page.
2) Item misrepresentation
Even for Final Sale items, buyers are protected if the item is not as described. Examples include:
Undisclosed damage or defects
Wrong or missing item or components
Item differs significantly from the listing photos or description
Counterfeit or non-authentic products
How to file a claim
Email support@purvx.in within 3 days of delivery with your order ID and details.
Open-box video is required: Record a clear, continuous video showing:
the unopened parcel with the shipping label visible,
the full unboxing, and
the issue discovered.
Claims without an open-box video may not be eligible for review.
If validated, PurvX India will approve a return and guide you through next steps.
Ship the item back to the seller using a trackable courier.
Once the seller confirms receipt, a refund for the item price will be issued. Reasonable return shipping costs are reimbursed for validated misrepresentation.
3) Cancellations
About timing: Since PurvX India manually alerts sellers of new orders, there may be a short delay before the seller confirms dispatch. We’ll do our best to cancel if the item hasn’t shipped yet.
a) Buyer cancellations
You can request cancellation before the seller ships.
If a seller cannot fulfill an order, they must email support@purvx.in immediately.
Any listing fee or platform service fee is non-refundable, even when a seller cancels.
c) PurvX India cancellations
We may cancel an order due to suspected fraud, policy violations, or listing errors.
Buyers will receive a full refund of the item price if this occurs.
4) Refunds
Refunds are sent to the original payment method used at checkout.
Processing times vary depending on the payment provider (usually 7–10 business days).
Listing fees and platform service fees are non-refundable, including cancelled or withdrawn orders.
5) Platform-only transactions
All payments, communication, and transactions must occur only on purvx.in.
Direct payments, pickups, or off-platform arrangements are not protected under Purchase Protection.
PurvX India is not responsible for any dispute or loss from off-platform activity.
This rule will remain in effect even after in-platform messaging is introduced.
6) Important notes & limitations
Open-box video: Required for all damage or misrepresentation claims.
Seller responsibility: Sellers must accurately describe items and disclose any defects. Repeated cancellations or misrepresentation may lead to account suspension.
Timing: Claims for misrepresentation must be raised within 3 days of delivery.
Coverage: Only orders placed and paid on purvx.in are covered by Purchase Protection.
No rentals: PurvX India does not support rentals at this time.
Seller assistance: Sellers can reach out to PurvX India Support for help with order-related updates or issues.
